Perfect for My Needs
I use this for running and when I'm doing boring tasks around the house. Mainly used for listening to the radio or music when running, and for audiobooks downloaded from the library. It's easy to set and change channels when running, and it's lightweight. I use a flip-phone case that attaches to a belt to put this in while using it. Or, it slips easily into a pocket. With the USB cable, it hooks right up to my PC. It's easy to add or delete from it using the PC. This one replaced one of the same model that I accidently "fried", and I had the other one for several years and it worked great. This is not a new product. It's quite old, but the fact that it's working so well speaks for the quality of Sony products. Easy to use, just what we needed for a learning disabled person to enjoy music. Easy to download music syncing to a macbook.

You need to provide a middle selection to the above which I would have selected. The device plays about 90% of the songs clearly but has some sound quality issues with the remaining 10%. This item was sold as USED, given that description, it was a fair price.

The Sony Walkman my husband got for my 40th birthday died a few months ago. I really enjoyed it too. I saw this one and decided to try and win it, which I did! I have no clue it's original costs, but it's worth EVERY penny I paid! I have NO problems w/any kinds of songs, everything uploads fast, screen is clear as a bell, and other than a lower than I'd prefer volume level, I LOVE it! You have got to try one for yourself. Great value for the money
I only needed an easy to use mp3 player, but this one is much more than that.Besides, the sound quality is fantastic. And you can organize the directories as easy and efficient as in your desk computer. Congrats to Sony.
