Stephen King is definitely one of the best authors the world has ever seen, and "The Stand" is one of his finest novels. A riveting read that is filled with the chills and thrills that we've all come to expect from the king of horror. This is a brand new collectible edition that is beautifully presented in a leather-bound hardcover format. Looks fantastic on the bookshelf. You really can't go wrong with this one. Captivating from the first page, even though it’s a slow boil from the first days of the end of the world. Gritty, unforgiving, yet endearing and at times hilarious. This book has something for every kind of reader, but not for the faint of heart. It’s a big one, but it’s worth the read.
