It didn't arrive quite as quickly as I thought it would since I think it came to me directly from China instead of it arriving from a U.S. of A. based suppllier but it's here and I'm looking forward to making it go. This piece is EXTREMELY TINY! Unlike some of it's competition there is a grounding connection provided on the rear of the unit.

IAMNOBODY? What's that all about?
I was pleasantly surprised to discover the heft of this little phono preamp. It's not that it's heavy but given it's diminutive size, it feels substantial. As for the sound? Well, I wouldn't call it warm and revealing however, it sounds very honest and does not grate in the least. It is very quiet itself and does not add any hiss or hum during quiet passages or while idle. The output level control is very handy and works well. The fact that it has switchable, additional gain to accommodate a moving coil cartridge well, that's just icing on the cake. And a pretty nice little cake it is too! Inexpensive way to listen to old records.
My daughter wanted to have all the old records she and I listened to together while she was growing up. She just wanted to listen on head phones, no need for an amplifier and speakers. This phono preamp gave her a way to do that and still be able to add an amp later. It is priced just right and has all the fidelity she wants!

Great little cartridge pre-amp
Low price, RIAA compensated, mc and mm switch and level control. I utilized it when replacing a ceramic cartridge with a more modern moving coil cartridge in a console stereo from the 60's
