Got the 3000 mAh larger battery.
The first charge was tricky (after 2-5 hours of charge the indicator suggested it was fully charged, but that was not correct. I guess the first charge may take some time.
After fully charged, it’s been playing continuously for 36 hours and still has 75% on the battery indicator.
I bought an original version of this from Apple in 2016.
That one last about 24-35 play hours on a single charge.

Other vendors sold "refurbished" iPods that wouldn't hold a battery charge, kept crashing, etc. Mike Givens has integrity. I'm 100% happy with my refurb iPod; it behaves like a new one. Price was fair, shipping was timely, and my two questions (one before the sale, one after) were answered promptly and clearly. Mike even said write him if I have any problems after the warranty period expires, because he wants every customer to be happy. Would definitely order from this vendor again.
