  • Better than your average band's DVD

    Personally, I love watching DVD's from my favorite bands. The problem with many of them is that the video is simply a cut and paste of their concert footage from a small few shows off their recent tour. If i really like the band, chances are I would have already seen the show live, and the DVD's only apparent benefit is showcasing a new camera angle that i didn't experience being there. That's just boring, at that point it's like adding visuals to their latest CD. On the other hand, 311's Enlarged to Show Detail, spends much of it's footage interviewing band members, filming fans at shows, backstage/ tour bus antics, and of course some mandatory cliche concert footage.
