    Great For the money...

    I bought this particular unit because the Auction price was unbeatable, It retails for about 3 times what I paid. Operation was pretty easy once I downloaded the instructions. So far it has picked up more than my old Cobra unit and I don't have anywhere near the amount of "False" alarms. I learned this in 3 days of use. The only dislike I have is the size, compared to the other units from other makers that have same feature its about 1 and a half times their size.

    Cobra XRS 9740 Radar Detector

    It had additional features that my older model did not have. The ability to warn me of situations where I might be fined for excessive speed. Its voice alert system triggers almost immediatel allowing time to slow down. Its ability to alert you of emergency vehicles nearby. I dislke the sometimes false alert when their are no need to be alerted. I purchased this item because of its brand name, the same brand as the item being replaced, the overall quality of construction, the easy mounting brackets, easy setup and excellent price I got the item for ina the auction.

    Great value and ebayer!

    radar works great, and is easy to program. When you first plug it in you may want to go through the menu options and change a few things from the factory settings. I also like the fact it knows when to shut up :') and doesnt beep for 10mins at the grocery store. definitely a good buy.

    Works great as I thought it would and has been helpful

    I love the fact that the product provides an early warning for me so that I know when to be more cautious of my driving. The reason I bought this product was to avoid receiving a ticket and it has been very affective to that means so far.
