    Good phone, computer voice is hilarious

    We're happy with the phone in most every way, but it is comical when there is an incoming call: a computer voice announces who is calling and it seems utterly incapable of saying the name properly. That's no complaint, just an anecdotal comment. Phone has good range and is easy to figure out.

    I really love this product.

    I really like this phone/answering machine. I bought it to replace an old Uniden that I loved that finally wore out. After a lot of research, I settled on this Panasonic. It works great and has many nice features. The call announcer isn't that great--"she" doesn't pronounce things well. But the call blocker is GREAT! I particularly like that I can play incoming messages from the handsets, I don't have to go to the base. It's really nice to have a phone in my kitchen now. Handsets are lightweight but sturdy. Operations are intuitive. Set up was a breeze.

    Good phone with nice features.

    So easy to set up. Handsets pre registered which was great. Display is large, well lit. I just wish the talk and off buttons were larger. I do not use the answering machine so cannot comment on that.

    Great phone

    The phone has nice features. The feature I really like is being able to get your messages from the handset or base. That means you can check the answering machine from another room in the house or where ever the handset is located. The audio caller ID is not as clear as it should be. The handset is nicely backlit. The batteries are standard rechargeable NiMH AAA which can be purchased for a lot less than the packaged rehargeable batteries. If I should ever need new batteries, they'll be easy and cheaper to replace. The range and reception is better than my previous phone. Setup was very easy.

    Telephone

    The base unit that I had was fried during a lightning strike. I purchased this unit and can now use it and two extended handsets. I would have otherwise had to toss the handsets. They all work great!
