I was not pleased with the total quality of the book, as I had owned one bought in 1976 which had real leather binding etc. this one was faux leather and made in China, accepteble but not the real replacement I expected.

Very quickly shipped with tracking provided. Excellent packaging, wrapped and padded with kraft paper and using a new box/shipping container. Book was brand new and sealed/shrink wrapped as described. The Hobbit Deluxe Collector's Edition, noted in the description as, "Publication date: 10/24/1973", but is in fact a later print of this edition from 1997, and "Printed in China." Pleased with the purchase although such details could have helped if added to the description.
