So Cute, Perfect Size
I was looking to replace my DVD player and wanted something small. This is a Great little DVD player, Great picture, and sound, has closed caption, remote is easy to use. I love it, its just the right size for the desk in my office and it doesn't take up much space. The Screen swivels 180 degrees. It comes with a wall plug and car adaptor, so it can be plugged into a cigarette lighter. Has a rechargeable battery so it runs without any power source which is a plus. The screen measures 7 inches diagonally from corner to corner, the unit itself is approx. 9 inches. The Volume does reset to the highest level when powered on but its not a problem, you just adjust to the volume level down to what you want and its good to go. Horrible resolution
I got this DVD player in today so I could watch DVDs during my lunch break. Well, the screen resolution is horrible, with lines going through it and discoloration all over the place. I first tried a Three Stooges disc that had color and black and white version, and everyone looks like they have bad cases of eczema. I tried another and yet another DVD and got the same results. I tried adjusting the brightness, sharpness and contrast and all got the same result. It all looked like a watercolor nightmare as you can see in the pictures below.I got this DVD player in today so I could watch DVDs during my lunch break. Nice little DVD player
There are only a couple of things I don't like about this unit and they are minor quibbles. Every time you turn the unit off and back on the volume defaults to the maximum setting, and the remote has a few too many small buttons to make it easy to use in the dark or without my glasses. Other than that it is a very nice little unit.
