About this product

Product Information

Coaster Works allows Dreamcast gamers to design and build their own virtual roller coasters. Players design the coasters using a split-screen interface that allows the work to be viewed from several different angles. Instead of building the ride piece by piece from a limited selection of available track sections, the player has the freedom to extend the track in just about any direction desired. Once the coaster is complete, the player can take a ride on his or her creation, making sure that the first-hand experience meets (or exceeds!) expectations. After making any necessary revisions, the ride is opened to the virtual public, who will be the ultimate judge of the player's work.

    Neat game, worth the small price

    I really enjoy playing this game, and at the prices you can get it nowadays, why the heck not? THere are multiple levels of building in the game and each new level brings new challenges and abilities. Some of the final stage are pretty darn hard and will have you spending time making a creative track.

    Not Bad - Pretty Challenging

    This is a fairly fun game. It is challenging, especially when your tracks to fit in the pre-defined space and you have to remove a bunch and re-lay them. My 9 year old likes it but it took him over 45 minutes to get the hang of it and complete his first coaster. Patients Patients Patients

    Very realistic game.

    The thought put into this game is just great. they really think of everything angles, safty, space requirements, thrill, its amazeing. I really like this game. I bought it because it looked different, not like sim city or railroad tyk. but just different.

    coasterworks video game

    The game is excellent.You get to build your own roller coaster. The more you build,the more intense the coasters get,and you can have people ride on them as well.I throughly love the game and recommend the game to everyone.On a scale of 1 to 10, the game is a "10". If you love challenges, you'll love coasterworks!!

    Coaster works (Dreamcast)

    Don't know to much about this game,so I can't give a honest review...after I play it I will let you all know. Looking forward to playing this game,hopefully I go on a wild and crazy ride. Impaler64
