You get what you pay for.
At first i was unhappy with my purchase. I could only get it to connect with my cable box and nothing else. I did a little research and found a easy solution to hook up everything, my cable box, xbox one s, ps4 and evan my smart tv. (Which i use for netflix, hulu, and youtube).I went to best buy and had to get a optical audio cable and a optical to aux converter box as this product only supports the standard red/white connection. I plugged one end of the optical cable into my smart tv and the other into the converter box, and then simply plugged the red/white cables up to the surround sound. It works great, Now i have great sound when i watch tv, and also when i play a gaming console. Just remember, you get eat you pay for. This product works best in a small room/area set up. I really don't know how it works because I'm in the hospital right now because a week after it arrived I had to go in and I was there about 3 days then I got to come home and now I'm back in and they will probably keep me until Sunday or Monday and I will come home again and if I'm feeling better I will try and set up the speaker system !
