Antiquated Technology
This specific scanner model is antiquated and very outdated technology that does not meet the requirements of today's frequency monitoring. Trunked and digital frequencies are what most Fire / Police / and Highway Patrol utilize .. The Uniden BC350A model is basically a paperweight and will not pick up anything that uses digital frequency technology for such. Many years ago, this model scanner was a great "resource," but with today's current new scanner technology and digital broadcast transitions, it places the BC350A in the same category of VHS and cassette tape era of electronics. This specific scanner model is antiquated and very outdated technology that does not meet the requirements of today's frequency monitoring. Trunked and digital frequencies are what most Fire / Police / and Highway Patrol utilize .. The Uniden BC350A model is basically a paperweight and will not pick up anything that uses digital frequency technology for such.
