A niche camera
This camera is super easy to use. And the small size allows you to take it anywhere, even a shirt pocket, although don't drop it. With 14mpxl and the small sensor, you are not going to get great large pictures. Where this camera excels is in taking close-ups. I can take document close-ups or shots of close objects with great image quality. I shot a set of blue prints that are quite readable. This is the primary niche for this camera for me. I have many other cameras for the other things. And I must add this is a durable camera too. It might be good for kids or beginners, not because it's a toy, but because of ease of use and durability. Camera did not turn on or work
Did not work when we got it. Bought & installed a new battery and it is working so far. You would think that it would have been tested to see that everything was working properly before the camera was sold, when we got it it would not even turn on and the battery would not charge in the camera. Therefor, I cannot give a very good review.

Very nice pocketable camera
The camera is very nice for what it is - good quality, easy picture-taking with a camera that can be easily tucked away in a small pocket or purse compartment. I use it for a 'second camera' when i don't want to carry my larger one. The only drawback for me is that it uses a dedicated lithium-ion battery which requires having a separate charger & cord and/or a spare battery handy. I honestly plan to replace it with a slightly larger model which uses AA batteries - which also results in a slightly beefier grip. Good quality, good features, lightweight, easy to use, good value
Bought this item to do green screen work. Along with good software (Sony Vegas - not included with camera, obviously) this works wonders with a green screen. Also takes great stills in decent light. Very light and thin, a lot of features for more advanced users but also a point and shoot for novices. I was hoping for better exposures in low light since this has a great ISO rating, but I was slightly disappointed. However, it does take semi-decent video in low light. Overall, not a bad camera. I've come to expect greatness from Nikon, and generally the company has never disappointed me. I would definitely buy this again.Bought this item to do green screen work. I have bought it for taking photos and videos as often as possible, without much of professionals skills. Used in the day time and in the evening, indoor and outdoor and on moving subjets, I'm quite satisfied with the results. Good quality, easy to use, it worths every penny. I like the colors, the contrast and the focus of most of them, it looks naturals. It's sometimes long between 2 shots at +14Mpx but I supose it's normal depending also on the details present on the image. It function perfectly in auto focus with auto scene mode if you have 2 seconds for fixing it. Most of the times there's no delay. And I was really surprised by the quality of photo on backlighting situation. Anyway, I haven't yet check every single setting and option available, so I could not tell you more about. ...
