    Finally, A Complete Hans Zimmer Pirates Score

    Having much of the first two movies musical score "ghostwitten", Hans Zimmerman was able to deflect criticism to a degree from what many soundtrack fans would point out as "soulless drivel". Given complete free reign for the third film, Mr. Zimmerman can take full credit for the mess this time around. The At World's End soundtrack gives you only tastes of the movie instead of the complete flavor. Many of the better tracks from the film are cut short or mixed with other themes. The ones that are left standing do not give you the feel of the film. I bought the soundtrack merely for the "Hoist The Colors" opening, but was only treated to a brief 90 seconds of vocals. The rest of the CD can largely be forgotten, even after repeated listenings. A soundtrack should bring back vivid images ...

    A Star in Soundtracks--If you liked the other two

    I decided to buy this superb soundtrack because I have both the previous Pirates soundtracks and they're some of my favorites (I collect soundtracks). This was right up there with its companions. It's definately more slow-paced than the two first ones, but just as good. I highly recommend it. The only bone I had to pick with the CD was that it came in a digipack case instead of an original jewel case--definately more cheap. But the music is great! I also highly suggest the other two. They start with certain tunes and themes in the first one that carry through, in inversions, all the way to the second and now the third one. Bravo!

    Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Movie cd

    This is the best one yet! The first one was pretty good, the second a disappointment. This one I have listened to time and time again, and have not gotten tired of it! The action music is somewhat like some of the first but with a diffent flavor. The Davy Jones music is very well done, as is the love theme for Will and Elizabeth. Just a wonderful mix on the music spectrum. You will not be disappointed.

    Parlay

    It was perfect for our pirate themed Halloween party! We had it playing in the background and It sounded great and really set the ambience. Great soundtrack made us want to watch the movies again!
