FAVORITE PICKS
While I favor Herco Nylon picks, it's hard to find just the right one. I love the texture/feel of these picks but that's not why I have a collection of them. I guess it's too much to ask but I would like to see picks categorized by the tension they apply to the strings. How about this, if you call a pick a "FLEX 50" shouldn't that, at least, indicate the thickness of the pick. I just ordered a dozen Hercos that are called FLEX 50, thickness between .63 and .64 mm. Listing for these picks range from 'LIGHT' to 'MEDIUM' and some don't even give the thickness. I would like to see these listed as Herco or Flex T63, is that so hard. I buy picks online to save from music store prices but there isn't much savings when you have to order several to get what you want. Now that said, I love ... My picks of choice
I came across these picks long ago during a pick emergency. I didn't have access to any others but I was very pleased and have continued to use the silvers and golds, depending on the application, ever since. I have subsequently learned that other famous guitarists use these, and I can see why, though I don't see this as a reason to use them myself. I like the feel, the way the nylon feels on guitar strings, and the nuanced sound I can get from them. An old favorite, rediscovered.
I forgot how much I used to like these picks until a friend gave me one recently. I love the nylon "nibs" on the top of the pick. They give a bit of added scrape to single note runs that I really like!

I play the dulcimer and these picks are great. The 'clacking' sound that you get with picks on the the dulcimer is greatly reduced with these picks. Recommend.
