    It is small pocket sized and easy for fast shooting of travel and impatient people. The photo quality is satisfactory for most uses. The flash can be controlled and the Auto feature does a good job getting the best exposure. There are times when the viewfinder, small as it is, is needed because of the light conditions. All is all, it is an amazing little camera with excellent features.

    Can't be beat for optical viewfinder on a point and shoot.

    I previously had a SD1000 years ago that I lost. It was my favorite camera. I especially liked the viewfinder and the color accent mode. You can turn off the lcd to save battery and use the optical viewfinder. Neither of these features are offered on newer models, and this product the 1100is is the last model to include both. As such, it is an upgrade, yet it performs and feels just like my old camera. Very happy with it. it is a great size, and takes nice picture. Easy to use. A little slow compared to an slr or a smartphone, but it works great.

    New or used, it the small camera with big value.

    Great small camera that is as big as a pack of smokes, great value new or used. I have purchased two used ones, and if taken cared of and loved, it would be a great little workhorse for all your photos needs. The manual viewfinder is little small to use, but the digital one on back makes up for it. Good to have a back up battery or two, screen and flash eats them up. Great "targeting" system to make your subjects in focus...my favorite of all it's features. The camera is a great value new or used.

    Camera replacement

    Be very careful when ordering used electronics online. Google the product you are buying and find out how old, out of date it is and exactly what it is. If accessories are even available. I was lucky to find a memory chip for my used camera. Otherwise, I would have been stuck with a very limited memory chip.

    Replaces a Sony

    Bought it to replace a Sony camera that died. It matches the make and model of another we have so now both my wife and I have the same. Especially like that it features a separate viewfinder to use when there is too much light to see the screen.
