Great product -- A laser level that you can easily see!!

Easy to use and makes it incredibly easy to install ceramic tiles perfectly level! The included 'holder' is extremely versatile and makes alignment easy. The green laser is far brighter than any red laser I've used and if you're color blind like I am, the bright green laser is way easier to see than the red lasers. Also, I've seen complaints about this unit using up the batteries within a couple of hours, which it does, BUT actually being able to easily see the laser lines easily is far more important than using a little more battery power -- This unit is a GREAT Value for the money --- Try it, I'm sure you'll like it!!!!

Basic green crosshair with no adjustments.

The green lines are bright enough for indoors for most normal distances. You can definitely see them trail out. When on the ground, it doesn't shine the vertical line above the device, so take that into account as you have to back it up further maybe. My biggest gripe is that it's always a cross-hair shape. You can't toggle vertical or horizontal on/off. But worse, you can't slide them up/down or left/right relative to each other either. This means you have to be able to line this up directly perpendicular to your point and also be able to raise/lower the entire device to the height you want the horizontal line to be! That's pretty lame. Since it's self leveling, tilting it forward/back to try and move the horizontal line will just cause it to show in the same height as the unit (obvious, ...

  • Easy to use and affordable

I have used this once and am delighted with the product. I bought the tripod from a different supplier. The unit is easy to use and gave clear lines on the wall. It is so much easier than the old style transits I used to use! And the price makes it attractive to have for only occasional use. I made sure to remove the batteries before closing the box.

  • Bright and Accurate

I'm using this Self Leveling Laser to install a suspended ceiling. I found this to be a real help. Prior to having this tool, I've used a water level to find level in every corner, then strike a line (with a chalk line). Now all I have to do is set up the laser at the desired height and I have an accurate, bright and easy to see line. Glad I bought it!

  • fine: simple, accurate, easy-to-use

A very simple device, no bells or whistles - does the job. It's a time saver compared with the hassle of dealing with normal levels. I've had it for only a couple of weeks so I can't comment on longevity: wear-and-tear, long-term accuracy, how it takes the abuses that any tool is subject to. Right now I'm happy to have it. The beam has some thickness to it - that's the nature of the beast - but it's easy to deal with. I got it to get a precise height measurement for the height of a stairway I'm about to start building, a difficult measurement to get with a regular level when the stair's first step is located a fair distance from its last, especially when you know that both floors are out of level. With the laser I could get the measurement in a short minute or two. I awarded 3 stars only ...
