    Good Tablet for Reading

    It has some issues with closing programs. Not sure if that is an android issue or a Nook issue, since I installed an N2A card to have it working more like an android. I have had no issues downloading apps, either before or after N2A. I was getting screen flickers while using it and discovered, through research, that Nook tends to do that when plugged in. So now I unplug it when using it. The screen is awesome. Everything is so bright and clear. It is a little heavy to hold in one hand while lying down, but it is manageable. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.

    Nice tablet.

    It does what I need it to do. The screen's quality is good. Memory can be expanded with microSD card, which is a plus. B&N latest software version is Android 4.0.4, which isn't that great. And, I don't think B&N will update the software anymore.

    For reading, watching movies and browsing, this is the best value for money

    The best tablet from B&N (this is my second one). All reasonable features you expect -- good display size, long battery life, plenty of Android apps. Add to this the frugal price and this is a deal that seemingly can not get better. But it can, if you buy it refurbished like me -- you will get (an almost) new tablet for the less than 1/3 of iPad or the likes. However it is not perfect. It is not pure Android, instead B&N has tweaked it quite a bit. It is well done but one negative side is that for updates this table depends entirely on B&N. My old tablet runs Gingerbread and will never receive official update. I did that with N2A card but that is different story. Another concern is the RAM memory. It may have been sufficient when the tablet has been released, but recently (in 2013) B&N ...

    Awesome tablet

    They don't make too many tablets as good as this one anymore..this tablet is totally worth the money..you get the nook store and the Google play store app..it's a nice size screen with excellent picture quality..I used to watch netflix, play games and read books on mine..I also used to surf the Internet with it..it's perfect for that and does it all flawlessly..it's just recently bought it's replacement at Barnes and Noble book store..the Samsung Galaxy tab e nook..i have had yet to use it..we will see if it compares to the nook hd plus..i only bought a new one because I locked myself out of my nook hd plus..I forgot my password..I highly recommend this tablet

    A lot to like

    I anticipated battery problems but found that the battery is quite adequate for my use. The WIFI radio seems to be a bit weaker than my other devices but that is about the only complaint I can find. I really like the tab/hole. I've attached an old camera strap. Works well with Google Drive as far as connecting with files or you can just copy them using the USB cable.
