I screwed this onto the end of my SV205 camera and it indeed provides about a 0.5x reduction in the focal length. When testing without it I can fit exactly 3 fence pickets in the view. After installing it I was able to see 6 fence pickets. It does exactly what it claims to do.

The SV48P telescope was shipped fast, and like two other items, arrived sooner than expected. It was very well packed, double-boxed and arrived with no damage. The scope is very good quality at this price point. It does have some CA, to be expected with a fast doublet. Otherwise, great views of deep space objects and a good all around telescope for the price. SVBONY has excellent communication and customer service, I would not hesitate to buy from them.
