The sound on this small little speaker is amazing. It has more bass than I would nee for a small party. I don't mean it's going to shake the house down but it's got plenty of umph if you need it to have a small gathering and put on some music to entertain guests. It won't work if you are having a block party but in a closed area, this speaker has plenty going for it. I would recommend getting a refurbished unit to save on the long run. I've purchased refurbished items before and have never been disappointed. Just one listen and you will be using this speaker more often than not around the house because it is just so easy to use!

I love the design and size of this portable speaker, it’s exactly what I wanted, not too small that it sacrifices the sound or too big and heavy that needs a cart just to take it to the beach where the good sound it produces becomes secondary because it’s bulky, it’s rugged and well built, the bass radiators give you a balanced soundstage even in an open space, this model is very similar to a larger and heavier JBL boom box but with a nice handle and sturdier quality and weather resistant rating. I’m very happy with this purchase and I just hope it last me a long time despite been refurbished but it does look new and works great. Thank you Anker.

It's a great Bluetooth speaker - plenty loud, USB-C charging (so it charges quickly!), excellent battery life, water resistant. Have 3 JBL Charge 3's & a CHARGE 4, this thing blows them away!!!! Caught it on sale, a refurb was only $60 shipped, so way better sound at a fraction of the cost of a smaller JBL that uses proprietary drivers (speakers). If they blow they cost a small fortune to replace IF you can find them!!! The Soundcore app is light years more advanced than the JBL app also, & even has its own adjustable EQ!!! Will be buying more and getting rid of the JBL's soon.....
