In April of 1973, 10 years after they first shook up America, came two double albums of their music: "The Beatles/1962-1966" and "The Beatles/1967-1970", 2 sets of timeless tracks that forever changed popular music. They were originally released on vinyl LPs. 20 years later, in 1993, these collections made their debut on CD. Now, these legendary albums have been reissued on CD, in this handy set, together for the very first time. Remastered for superior sound quality. From the opening notes of "Love Me Do" to the closing finale of "The Long And Winding Road" and all points in between, the 54 tracks featured here are prime examples of what great music should sound like. Remastered CDs are in stereo and have new packaging. In addition, new liner notes and full lyrics accompany each volume (red and blue). All-in-all, this is a great introduction to THE BEATLES and a great "snapshot" of their body of work. Great Value of Money for this box set + extra Beatles Goodies
The remastered "The Beatles 1963-1966" & "1967-1970" is a great purchase to get for someone who is just getting into the Beatles because its a great selection of their music. This is a great purchase because the two albums are together in a box set and worked out cheaper then buying the two albums separately as well (In Australia, to buy just one of the albums in a retail store is about $35 each) Definitely worth the purchase if you don't have this album for both a Beatles nerd or a Beatles newbie :-)The remastered "The Beatles 1963-1966" & "1967-1970" is a great purchase to get for someone who is just getting into the Beatles because its a great selection of their music.
