A descent digital microscope for the price. Comparison with my optical microscopes indicates that the real magnification is only a bit over 100X not the advertised 1200X. It can only be 1200X if viewed on a large 50 inch TV screen and even then the image may be big but the clarity is no better than achieved by an optical microscope of 120X. This fact should be addressed in the description for truth in advertising purposes.
