The Meile sweeper is a wonderful sweeper. I have had 3 of them, and use them for my cleaning business. They can take a lot of use and even abuse on occasion. The telescopic wand is the part that doesn't keep up the pace. It somehow loses it's ability to shorten and lengthen at your will. Something in the button control system is weak and breaks. My newest Miele sweeper is less than a year old and already the telescopic wand rebels once in a while. So, while I DO recommend this sweeper, I also have hopes that they soon will come up with a solution to this wand issue.

This vacuum wand did not fit either one of my Miele cannisters or any attachments I have (i.e., the power brushroll for carpet) I am returning the product and will edit this review depending on how smoothly the return/refund goes.

Thank Miele that they fixed the lousy product design for the original wand on the world's most expensive canister vacuum. Now there is no wire hanging in the wand to trap dust and clog the vacuum. Of course it is not for free - but it works!
