This thing is built to last, very solid construction It also features a nice release button for the hair most other deshedding tools such as regular brushes gloves etc do not which make this feature really sweet works great gets a lot of hair out although sometimes I wonder if it gets too much as in pulls out hair but then i realize screw it if it does and i have a bald cat that's much easier to work with lol no hair on the furniture etc :D

I think I got this confused with the loop-shaped one that gets the undercoat. This is just a very Hugh quality comb that is easy to clean. Really not much better than a regular comb. However, my cat loves it!

The amount of dead hair this brush pulled out is unreal. My cats aren't overly fond of brushing so it's being done in stages BUT since I've done it they are not throwing up hairballs anymore! I could have created a whole new cat out of the amount of dead hair I've removed so far. Love it!
