I bought this product for a month, and right away i have fire at the knob where it turn on the propane. It now ruin my the knob and I can't put it back in. The company sold me the product can't take it back because I already have propane running thought it (safety issue). how do you know if the product is good if you are not using it.. and after using it, no return due to safety?.. what kind of return policy is this? Critical part has major design flaw
The problem is the jet design - a small diameter brass component with relatively large holes drilled in it to allow primary air to mix with the propane. The holes render the part inherently very weak. 2 of three jets were broken and the third has a crack... on arrival and despite no damage to the packaging. The part does not seem to be replaceable but I may be able to modify using 1/2" to 1/4" copper bell adapters. This is now a repair project I did not need.
