    Frighteningly accurate explication of current Chinese strategy.

    Mearsheimer updates his 2001 book with a new last chapter on China, which illustrates his "offensive realism" theory well. Russia's recent behavior fits it well too. Book offers a major elaboration of realist theory but is overlong an repetitive. His theory, even with several holes in it, must be taken into account by international-relations professionals.
