  • Most Read: Full RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8110 (AT&T) Review

It has been more than a year and a half since the first RIM BlackBerry Pearl launched, the device has changed little, at least visually. The design is still the same, and though we've always appreciated the SureType keyboard and the slim design, the OS needs a serious upgrade, and even the trackball isn't as amusing as it once was. We liked having GPS on a Pearl, but the Verizon Wireless and Sprint BlackBerry Pearls both have navigation, with 3G networking to boot. Still, even though there is little to recommend AT&T's BlackBerry Pearl 8110 over the others, it's still a competent smartphone and not a bad choice, even though there are better choices around. Release: April 2008. Price: $100. Pros: Slim BlackBerry Pearl, now with GPS. Very good battery life. Navigation software looks better ...

  • The best mobile device around - period

Ever wondered how your thick fingers could possibly manage to type on most smartphone keyboards? Even not really want to deal with an easily cracked touchscreen device? Then the BlackBerry Pearl 8110 is the phone for you. This marks the fourth 8110 I have owned (others have been lost or stolen). The larger keys and two letters per button design allows me to text faster than a 13 year old girl (so imagine how fast a 13 year old girl would be with one). The large screen is beautiful; the balance of design and functionality is perfect - to the point where I truly don't know why RIM decided to keep designing new phones; the onboard memory is so massive that I have not had to delete text messages for years. The ability to link the phone to any computer via any mini to regular USB cable makes ...

  • Blackberry Pearl 8110 ATT

Review written June 21st 2010 I work for ATT and have for over 8 years, I know pretty much every phone thats been made for the past decade and I tell the you TRUTH about them rather it be the positive or the negative, I personally use this exact same model phone and have for almost 3 years now. Pros: Very durable(8.5 of 10) and gets EXCELLENT reception (9.5 of 10), I travel all over the nation from the mountains of Maine to the deserts of California and I can only think of a couple of phones ever on the market that got reception comparable to this phone and they are all old school Nokias. Of course its a Blackberry so it offers the same superior email sevices that no other phone maker can compete with any and all Blackberrys offer the best email service. Cons: Even the best items have ...

  • Its a good buy for the money if you have patience to learn the keypad!

I HATE the keyboard on this phone its extremely frustrating as its so difficult to text as I was accustom to the standard keypad. If it was even just a regular keyboard I would have been fine with BUT, ... ITS NOT! unlike keybord ive seen or used on a phone or computer. Now I'm having to retrain myself how to text and it wastes a lot of time as I used to be able to text almost blindly. Aside from the keyboard I am extremely happy with all of the other Blackberry functions in which it provides as I paid like 10 dollars for a phone that has so many functions that still provide options that the newer expensive phones now offer that's a big plus!!

  • fab phone

red pearl phone is an excellent blackberry device. Its perfect size to fit in your pockets and has all the features of a regular blackberry. The screen size could be a little bigger though. http://wwcenterprises.blogspot.com
