These tiny, little plastic corkscrews saved me $1,000. I own a beautiful Art Deco star sapphire but it's 30 carats and the stone swivels around my finger because of the weight. My jeweler told me to size it would be $1,000 as it's platinum, and the shank would need to be thickened and widened, but that takes away from the Art Deco look. He saw my disappointment and wound a sizer around the shank and trimmed it. Perfect--comfortable, waterproof. A+++++
