    Best friction dash mount!

    I have used one of these for a few years in my car which has a large windshield. Recently acquired a second vehicle and wanted to set it up for GPS use just like my first vehicle. It is difficult to get it suction cupped to the windshield which is so far from the driver position. They will always lose suction on occasion and drop off the windshield.....always..and usually will end up on the floor. This friction dash mount is perfect, and never has moved off the dash even during rare events of sharp turns or braking and is easily moved around to suit the moment. To keep the GPS unit from falling off from the friction mount when the suction fails, I attach a string with barrel adjuster from the GPS unit's suction cup mount to the loop provided on the friction dash mount.     Less than new!!!

    Loot Hive said that the product was in loose packaging and may have a scuff on it but this thing was down right USED. Plastic coating was scared on the edges and the sealing surface was scared. I had to use silicone to get it to seal. Rubber non-skid bottom looked as it has been scuffed off in places. It was cheap so I guess I got what I paid for.

    Works well

    It's heavy enough not to slide under normal driving conditions. If you drive like your in a road rally, then this is not for you. It saves me time. Snap in the GPS unit and place on the dash and your ready to go. Works well for me, better than I expected.

    A decent friction mount for phone for the price

    It is of sufficient weight, but the bottom is not sticky enough (rather than some sort of silicone mat, it's more like a felt) to stay put sufficiently. So it can shift a bit if you are moving too fast. It is also bigger than I thought, but good enough for the price.

    Doesn't go out of date.

    I've owned the exact model dash mount for a TomTom I purchased about a dozen years ago. Since that time I've used the same dash mount for two additional TomTom. Recently I purchased a new VIA TomTom and also purchased another dash mount (much cheaper than the original). The old dash mount is still being used with one of the older TomToms.
