Insignia NS-8PDVD DVD Player works very well
This review is for a properly working unit. I purchased a non-working unit on ebay. AUDIO-GOOD: Loud and clear from built in speakers except in noisier environments. They lack bass as all small speakers do. VIDEO-GOOD: Clear high resolution. Reasonable brightness except in sunlight. Only blurs with very high speed action. CONTROLS-EXCELLENT: All controls are touch activated and have worked perfectly. INPUTS/OUTPUTS-GOOD: Work properly and detect input signals well but the correct cable is a must. (Several identical looking cables are wired differently). DISC READ ABILITY-EXCELLENT: Amazing. I think you could cut a disc out of cereal box cardboard and it would read it. Insignia NS-8P DVD
The Insignia NS-8P DVD system is wonderful and easy to operate. The directions assisted where common sense could not be applied. I've have a wide variety of ages use the DVD player without any problems and they all said that the experience was fantastic. The quality of the picture and sound are chrystal clear and the remote makes it easy to operate. I would recommend this unit to all my family and friends as a great gift. Children can see the movie they want, using the head set, while the rest of the family enjoys the TV programs accordingly.The Insignia NS-8P DVD system is wonderful and easy to operate. A Great Portable DVD Player
This is a great entry level portable DVD player, great for those long car trips with the kids! Pros: It has a large 8 inch screen but is very compact when closed 2 headphone jacks can view jpeg photo cd's can attach to a larger tv for viewing Cons: No progressive scan feature Screen immages are not very sharp/clear All in all a good product

Really stumbled on this item-Looked for weeks!
I am so happy about this item. Sharp looking,easy to use, instructions are in plain language. A really nice DVD Player. Having an 8" screen makes more of a difference than you would think. Have not found anything to dislike about it and I am anxious to use it in the car on trips for my Grandson. Love it, Thanks!
