Put them in Your car. Hand them out to homeless people this winter. Put them over clutter to reduce sensory overload. I did some research on these, and I wouldn't recommend them for use if you're planning on using them as a sleeping bag. These are truly a last resort emergency item. That said, these are excellent for keeping in your car, purse or pocket. They will keep you from freezing for a short duration should your car break down or something similar. When folded in the package, they are smaller than a deck of cards but open to a full 84" X 52" (7' x4.33', 2.133 x 1.32 meters). I wouldn't you try to re fold it and put it back in the bag to use again, but for the price you can throw them away guilt free.I did some research on these, and I wouldn't recommend them for use if you're planning on using them as a sleeping bag. Works great to keep heat OUT
We live in Arizona. The laundry room has a metal security door, that with the summer sun gets too hot to touch. For summer 2020 I used a handful of magnets to hold one of these blankets on the outside. It reflected a LOT of the heat, keeping the door to a reasonable temperature. It lasted thru a summer & fall or Arizona sunshine. Would have put it back this summer, but I lost it. Put a new one up, the miracle renewed. We live in Arizona.
