    Good little battery.

    I purchased 2 of these babies and they are working great. I was at a 2 hour wedding and had full batteries when I was done. My only concern is they are much lighter than the Canon batteries they replaced which makes me wonder how long they will really last. All in all I can't complain as they are working fine.

    Not Happy With This Product

    I purchased these batteries because they were Canon and not some cheap copy. I charged them right away and when went to use my camera a week later. That battery was dead. I swapped that one for an older battery I had to finish my photos. This has happened three times since and now they will not hold a charge for even a day. I am very disappointed and don't know whether to blame the batteries or if the seller had them in stock for a very long time. Canon has always been a good product until this experience.

    BP-511A battery is a working horse,no doubt about it

    I bought two(2) BP-511A batteries for a Canon EOS-50D as a back up but ended using one of them. To my surprise I took a total of 510 pictures from 9:00AM to 4:00PM using the meter and time exposure modes and only using flash occasionally for back light effects and still I have power on this battery after a days work. The most I have gotten from comparable brands of batteries is 250 shots using the camera flash continuously. I sure like this product: efficient and great price
