I bought the Fujifilm FinePix 2800 camera two months ago, to record our two new puppies growing up. I wanted a camera that gave good results for both close-ups and action shots. I chose a FujiFilm camera by reputation and I have not been disappointed. As a novice taking shots, I like the face recognition, blink warning and red eye corrections that take care of most of the usual conditions that can spoil pictures. It gives good results for stills, action shots and with its X18 zoom is perfect for the dog training and agility pictures. Also, I was amazed with the movie feature that gives better results than some of the cheaper camcorders I have seen. I would have no hesitation in recommending this camera to anyone.
Camera is light weight. The only critics must is that the SD card is no longer available.

This is so easy to use and it is small so fits in anorak pocket .I bought it to replace another Fuji S6500. I wanted greater zoom and pixels .Not disappointed.If you are bamboozled by SLR then this for you ;if you like to set up pics manually like SLR you can do that . This is terrific kit
I purchased the camera for my wife, she is absolutely delighted with it. It take lovely pictures and is easy to use. Well pleased with the purchase.
