Perfect for a Hardtail Stratocaster
I recently built a hardtail Stratocaster and came across this Hipshot bridge. I've always had great experiences with Hipshot products so I thought to give this bridge a try. Wide range of adjustments, polished chrome, comes with the allen key, and just works. I prefer the narrower string spacing that this bridge features, along with the thru-the-body string style. Great sustain and stable tuning rounds out the list of features. I also tend to rest the meat of my hand on the bridge when I play, and found this bridge quite comfortable. Great bridge
I installed this in place of the stock bridge on a Fender Blacktop Tele Baritone due to intonation issues. It fixed the issue although the saddle spring had to be removed from the low B string. This bridge was a direct replacement with no drilling etc. required. The Hipshot bridge improved sustain, is much better quality and much more comfortable than the bridge it replaced.

This & common three hole bridge dimensions differ
This matched the though body & mounting drillings on an entry level Ibanez I’m hot-rodding exactly,but the outside dimensions of the Hipshot are slightly smaller. This means any imperfections the original bridge is hiding will be exposed. Fortunately, in my case the body is being refinished, so the indentions the previous bridge made in the body are moot.
