Great amp
Had this amp professionally installed at a reputable stereo shop. I have it powering 4 Soundstream 12's and they will rough you up inside the vehicle. The installer ran 1/0 power wire from the battery, and added an extra battery to help power the amp. I would recommend this. My lights don't even dim a little bit at night with the gain turned all the way up and the volume maxed out! This amp is the best I've ever owned. The speakers really take the power and it has never shut off or gotten hot. I have no external fan to cool it either. Great product from an original and very real and reputable company with a very real ability to build top of the market speakers and amplifiers. Must be receiving used repared amps cause this is the second one I have received and didn’t even look new I seen parts where it looked like it was decaying like it sat out the box! And they just fry no volume no nothing wrong got the great electronical and still my subs ate 2 of these when this amp should be able to keep up w the subs like I don’t get it all of this in a matter of 3 to four months 2 brand new amps fry on me and my subs still work ? New soundstream 6000.1 are made in China
I have an older soundstream 6000.1d and it still works like a champ. The older versions were made in south Korea....I have bought 2 of these newer amp these amps are made in China....u can't strap the older one with the beer ones. The newer ones are straight garbage .fried 2 of them withing a few months time had them installed my a expert. They are cheaply made now....I will not recommend buying these anymore...I have an older soundstream 6000.1d and it still works like a champ. It’s only powerful under.5 ohm.. my buddy had a audio pipe 1800 that had better sound quality an harder hit on same set up at 1 ohm ..don’t buy unless u plan on dropping the ohms low
