    great way to fix my laptop when the warranty doesn't apply

    I've replaced the motherboard on my laptop and now it works like new. Previously, I've sent the laptop to HP to fix it under warranty. However, the HP tech support rep notified me about a water spill spot found on the motherboard, voiding the warranty, and requested $250 for its replacement. I declined the offer and decided to get a used motherboard on ebay, then install it myself. It worked out great. Btw, I' haven't noticed any spills on the defected motherboard. Anyway, the laptop is fixed, case closed.

    don't waste your money buy a better built laptop...

    This motherboard which is in a g62-234dx computer has its little problems possibly by no fault of its own but by the manufacturers own disregard for using quality components and a sturdier case to house it. Replaced it after the 13th month(just out of warranty) because it wouldn't power up. Installed the new one...Hence powered up with blank screen.( Two bad memory cards. Replaced worked for one week now have white screen issue.

    I bought this product because it was a great deal. I needed the Motherboard to repair a customers laptop that did not want to spend a lot of money to have it repaired. I was able to repair the laptop at a reasonable cost, compared to scrapping the laptop. This product was well under the cost of others for the same product. Win, Win for everyone
