Good things come in small packages!
When I purchased this knife I knew it would not be big but I didn't realize it would be this small and light. After having it, I feel it is a great size. The blade is long enough to do anything I need but the knife is so small and light enough that it doesn't feel like a burden to pack or tote. The blade is sharp and holds up well. Should have purchased long ago! Quality hunting knife for both small & big game hunting. Doesn't take up a lot of room in a pack or on my belt. I've bought several Buck knives over the (40 plus) years, all are still in service. This was bought as a gift for a third generation new hunter. No frills, no fuss. Easier to clean than the folder types, Blade is QUALITY and holds an edge. Doesn't break the bank. My opinion, no better knife for the average hunter to venture into the hunting woods with. Quality hunting knife for both small & big game hunting. It is after all a Buck Knife which has a good reputation. I did a lot of searching and I went with this one because a 4" blade was the shortest I could find. I really wanted about a 3 1/2" blade. But considering the name brand and the price, I don't think a buyer can go very wrong.
