not worth the money/you get what you pay for
The mixer came in good condition, with no dents in the machinery or bowl. However, when I turned on the mixer, there was a obvious burning smell coming from it, and the motor made loud clunking noises. Couldn't keep the mixer on for more than a few seconds before I had to turn it off.

The last word in Stand mixers.
I've recently recieved the KSM90 KitcheAid Stand Mixer and it works really well for a used machine. I've run it thru it's paces and it will take all that I can give it. I plan to have good time with it. One of the most satisfactory characteristics I find appealing is the stability at fullspeed under load. The sound of the motor while it works is so seemly solid, it will be a pleasure to own. The other quality stand mixer I've ever owned was a vintage Dormeyer with all the attachments, bought brand new, but it was smaller and not as powerful, although it to was satisfying, for a long time. The 2nd best Mixer out by Kitchen Aid, the 1st is the one w/ the drop down bowl. These mixers are very versatile and basically just as good as a professional Bakers mixer. They are also available in many different stylish colors to accent the colors of your kitchen. This item has a locking bowl that fits into the base so the bowl doesn't move but he mixing attachments do very innovative. It works much faster than a conventional mixer due to its many speeds and powerful motor. Good deal for a used, in good condition mixer!
I bought this mixer because my mixer was falling apart and I wanted to try a kitchen-aid mixer because everyone I know says they are the best. I really like it but, had no idea what the size of it/the bowls would be before I got it. I now wish I had gotten one with a bigger bowl! It works great and looks good but, is hard to pour stuff in and scrape the bowl. I'm not even sure if a bigger bowl size helps that issue or not?!
