Even at "11" on your amp, you're alerted to an incoming call.
Our rock and country band rehearses in my basement. I have missed many phone calls while playing... LOUD. Tried another "strobe" phone product that was maybe 2x louder than ringing phone and had a "strobe" IMO about the same as a dim neon light, missed a bunch of calls. Went with this unit and it works great, loud ring but more important the flash is an actual strobe so its easy to decipher even at "11" settings on the amp. Awesome Flashing and Sounds extreme loud !
I bought this without thinking, (something that I do often being old). I actually needed it to hear the intercom which this won't do. BUT - The flashing light and loudness will wake the dead. If you are hard of hearing like me and want some flashing lights buy this; it does what you want it to do!
