The ball just wiggles around on the floor. It will circle then wiggle but don't even try this on anything but a hard surface. Very weak and dose not remove itself from the corner as stated. It just kind of wiggles around and that's it. The cat is not amused in the least. Really thought this would be fun but......

It's not that smart but does the trick with catching cats attention, probably better for kittens. Sometimes it just continues to drive into a wall or something else, I did notice eventually it will reverse course (if it don't shut off on you to conserve energy). It automatically shuts off within around 5 or more min, which is cool or OK if the cats good with playing. It's less effort to entertain your cat which was the purpose so it's a decent product.
