I bought this dvd since i read that its for babys 6 months and up, and i read reviews saying babys has been picking it up after a few days of watching this, my son just turned one when i bought it and i have been playing this video all throught once a day almost every day for the past 2 weeks and he loves the DVD he is a go go go baby but for this DVD he sits and watchs the whole dvd but yet he didnt pick up a single sign, my son calls dad and mom and can tell when he's hungry with a unique sound but not hands, i know not all babys are the same and this dvd might fit other babys better but what made me think that it does not fit babys is that even in the DVD videos all kids seems to be at the age of a year and half and up, this DVD will still be useful at that age but by no mean fit a 6 ... A MUST-BUY ITEM FOR ALL BABIES & TODDLERS!!
My 6-mo-old grandaughter can't do the signing yet, but she is already learning to recognize and understand the words taught in the video! I use the words a LOT so that she can at least understand me. For instance, when getting ready to feed her and during feeding, I use the words "eat", "milk" and "more" (along with their signs), and it's working. She was fussing today, and when I asked, "More milk?," she immediately stopped crying and had a look of recognition in her eyes. Hearing that video over and over is teaching her to understand me on those simple words. With time, she will have the ability to do the signing, and then I will be able to understand her! This is a must-have baby item for everyone!! It's going to eliminate so much confusion and frustration for my grandaughter (and ...
