As good as new. Very useful as I have a number of old tapes both SVHS and VHS I want to digitise so I can edit my old home movies to get on Youtube for family and friends
it works pretty well but it's not made that well. picture quality is very good and is good for recording digital tv on S-vhs tapes :)
