The best wrist compass on the market.
This Cammenga tritium wrist compass, in spite of it's small size, is one of the most accurate compasses I own. I've already checked that against a correct magnetic north line. The needle on the Cammenga settles down fast, the tritium glows in the dark for years, and it is light enough so you can forget you're wearing it. Simple, easy to use, but you do have to add or subtract local variation. Good Wrist Compass
The Tritium is bright all the time and is easy to see. The compass is not liquid filled so there is no worries about problems at low temps. I wore it for a week and it rattles a bit but it is not noticeable unless I focus on it. I would have preferred if it had come with a rotating bevel that would make navigating quicker.

Tritium wrist compass
Quality made product. Excellent backup to main compass that can be worn to check bearings for general direction at a glance. Not for precise navigation over long distances, but can serve to keep your orientation. Tritium is bright and will last for years if bought when newly manufactured.

Tritium Compass
Very nice, lightweight and very bright T25 tritium tube markers, usually find this level of luminescence only in T100 (100 mCi or millicuries). Only drawback is...it rattles. A liquid-filled unit would be preferable, but a very good deal.

I'm a fan of Cammenga compasses; tritium pointers, inductively dampened needle. rugged. Well, hold up on the rugged with one compass... the wrist version. My compass disappeared from my wrist even though the wristband lugs and holding frame stayed intact. The problem is that the lugs are NOT part of the compass. The lugs are part of a metal circle that is almost wire-like. The compass sits stop this thin, round circle, either friction fit or glued in place. One good knock on the body unseats the compass from circle, and your compass is lost. Hopefully you see it when it happens, or things may be "lost" in more ways than one. If Cammenga keeps making this product, I'm quite sure it will begin making the compass body and lugs as one piece, instead of sitting the entire compass atop a ...
