    Simple to use, but with great features!

    Easy enough to use for a beginner, but has enough features to satisfy most hikers, this compass is worth the extra $$$ and works well in a cross country trek. I especially like the mirror feature that folds to protect the compass while hiking and its set and forget magnetic variation adjustment tool that comes attached to the lanyard. Much more accurate than the cell phone compass and the basic lensatic compass I've been using.

    One of the best land navigation compasses ever made!

    Wish I had this when I was in the US Army Rangers. Very well made and functional. User friendly and adjustable. Thumbs up to Suunto. And yes, it is worth a few extra dollars, unless you want to be lost in the wilderness.

    Solid operating compass. Only drawback but without penalty of decreasing a star happens when setting the magnetic declination. Otherwise. great compass. Thank you.

    Great compass!

    The Suunto MC 2 is a great compass! The azimuth dial is nice and tight. The needle responds nicely and is very smooth. I have the quadrant and like it very much.
