    Bose or Klipsch ive had both and hands down Klipsch thumps harder

    I've had both surround sound systems with 10 inch floor sub and I'm impressed Bose dosent thump like this Klipsch and it's not even half way turned up so I have to turn my Bose woffer that's 500 Watts up higher and still dosent thump as hard as this new Klipsch that's only 300 Watts and not even half way turned up so sorry my Bose looses thank u was delivered wheersn expected and works perfectly thank u I'll be looking for Klipsch tower and new bookshelf speakers in the future have to up grade the rest of my system which is Klipsch to but need newer speakers to sound better than the older Klipsch I have now so I'll be contacting u again ,

    helps older systems that sound GREAT, SOUND EVEN BETTER.

    I did not realize how a woofer compliments sound UNTIL I heard the range with this one. It has complimented my 100W 6Ohm Yamaha and my Monitor Audio (Same w and o) as well. I also tried it through my Denon from Costco and my Yamaha from 2009. It really, REALLY helps intensify and naturally deliver the tone and feel. also, looks AWESOME without protective screen with that gold cone... I keep my screens on my speakers to protect ...but I wish they had see through protective mesh! Works of art!

    Great subwoofer

    Solid, Hefty, and Powerful

    This subwoofer finally completes the 5.1 all Klipsch surround system in my tiny home office, and now, I will have to find a bigger room for it. For about a year or so I lived with an off-brand 10" subwoofer - mated with 5 Klipsch speakers in the front, center and surround positions - that I thought was adequate. But I often found myself feeling like I was missing some power in the lower octaves. Well, the Klipsch R-1000SW is now delivering that longed for power with room to spare. The lowpass filter is adjustable from 40Hz to 150Hz (LFE), which allows it to work well with a fairly wide range of speaker sizes. Setup was easy: Connected it to my AV receiver's LFE out, turned down the gain a smidge, plugged it into power and flipped the power switch to ON/AUTO, adjusted the crossover with the ...
