This is the way to go.
This old-school method with a spin-on filter and a crankcase drain is a bunch less expensive, more effective and almost as quick. The "30-second" method just seems like an expensive gimmick.

the different design threw me the filter actually looked like it was assembled wrong !the old filter was made different! after searching on bing and you tube i learned that it was a different maker. put it on the mower seem's fine
