I bought this as an inexpensive way to replace a little Panasonic Lumix camera which has a dirty sensor. I haven't been disappointed - it is almost as small, and while it is a simple camera, its program mode is quite good, e.g. it allows long exposures in low light. The menu is rather different from the compact cameras I am used to (Panasonic, Casio, Pentax) but quite friendly. One disappointment is that it does not rotate vertical photos. I had got used to this with my newer cameras. But at least you can rotate photos from with the camera's menu. It seems like a well-built gadget. Perhaps a bit tougher than other cameras I have used. Decent, overall, if a tad clunky, but it is great that you can charge it via micro USB. Worth the modest amount I paid for it in middling condition.

Still photography is good. Video seems to record in AVI which has to be converted before it can be uploaded to the likes of Facebook etc. Also I don't think the sound & video seem to sync together correctly. Disappointing as I had previously the Samsung ST201 which lasted me for 10 years before the focussing gave up. The video quality on the ST201 was excellent.

Purchased used in good condition and works really well, images I've taken in 16mp resolution are really good quality, even lower resolution images are good quality and the camera itself is small compact and lightweight. So far I cannot find anything to complain about this camera, it's worth the investment.

I bought this camera to start out on photography, but I didn’t want to spend a lot as I might have got bored with it. Safe to say I would recommend this camera! It’s always in my car, if I see a good scenery or photo of birds or even a background for my car, it’s always 100% spot on and never lets me down. If you’re going full on, then perhaps spending a little more would give you a better image quality and zoom. -The picture quality is GOOD, not great, for the size of camera and price. -The LCD screen is not a high resolution, but plug into the laptop and you will be amazed! 90% of all pictures taken are very good, the odd blurry one or forgetting to turn flash off etc. Bad points -Flash is always on when u turn the camera on, it doesn’t save the previous flash setting. -The camera is VERY small, perhaps I thought it would have been bigger and heavier? Check dimensions before you buy and that’s it, me, my girlfriend and my dad has one, no complaints!Read full review
