Television and videos not good for children under 2
The name "Baby Einstein" can trick parents into believing it's okay or even good for their babies to watch it, but the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends no television AT ALL to children under 2 because so many studies have proven its harmful effects on children. Studies have shown that: - for every hour of television a baby watches a day, their chances of acquiring an attention deficit disorder increases by 10%. - among babies ages 8 months to 16 months, every hour spent daily watching programs such as 'Brainy Baby' or 'Baby Einstein' translated into six to eight fewer words in their vocabularies as compared with other children their age." - brain wave activity in babies is slower when watching television than when sleeping. "Signing Time" (Two Little Hands Productions) DVDs is ... Happy for the Four pack! Baby Shower Gift!!
We have purchased Baby Einstein for years when they first came out on VHS. I am so happy they are out on DVD now, but what a great find with a Four pack! We purchased this for a baby shower gift to place inside the basket of goodies and this four pack includes the favorites of BABY GALILEO, BABY NEPTUNE, NUMBERS NURSERY, and BABY BEETHOVEN. It is easy for the parents to listen to this over and over and doesn't get on the nerves like some other DVDs.We have purchased Baby Einstein for years when they first came out on VHS. Best Way to Buy Baby Einstein
Why pay $15 dollars a piece in the store? Even consignment shops are more expensive. Buying on Ebay is the best way to go for Baby Einstein. The DVDs work great and my 5 month old son LOVES them! He watches one each morning so I can sit and eat breakfast. They give Mom a much needed break and he is really soaking them in!

BABY ADDICTION
My daughter loves the Baby Einstein series. I thought I would test it out since she really loved the toys. She is ten months old and can't get enough of these DVDs. I recommend this series to anyone with an infant.
