A fine portable webcam
I had a hard time finding more recent reviews for this thing (in 2019), so here we go. I got it because I wanted a more portable webcam for travel, and it definitely satisfies that requirement. It also has a short cord, which is good for use with a laptop (for me, an old Thinkpad x200). I had no problems with the clip, although I found that the stand might be more necessary than I thought, because when I clip it to my laptop, my face takes up most of the image. I can go without the stand while traveling, but I wouldn't at home. The image quality is just fine. It probably accomplishes this by keeping the resolution down. I haven't had a chance to test out the microphone, and I'll probably update the review once I can test out the microphone. For the record, I tested this out with a pretty ... This Web Cam captures a vivid picture and the microphone is top notch. Comes with a stand and can be attached to a laptop too. It also has a padded carrying case. Auto focuses for movement and different lighting conditions and the microphone also auto adjusts based on sound input. Uses an USB cable for input to a laptop or PC. Come with it's own software to adjust the webcam and additional software that can basically do what Skype does. I chose not to install the latter and had no problem using the webcam with Skype. I would highly recommend this webcam to anyone who is considering using Skype. The disc that came with the product did not have Windows 10 drivers. Logitech's web site is difficult to navigate. I eventually located the correct product software using Google, and it installed easily. Configuration with the OEM software is limited, but skin tone and color settings are nice. Image quality is solid at 720 P, and I use a discreet microphone. It works well with Zoom and Facebook video on a 100/10 Mbps cable connection.The disc that came with the product did not have Windows 10 drivers. Logitech's web site is difficult to navigate. Having ooVoo'ed a number of times with family members without a webcam, I was more or less expecting to see the errant color and touch and go sound quality as represented by their cams; after I had installed my new Logitech webcam C905.... I discovered, I couldn' have been more mistaken! To begin with the initial installation required an extra driver, which was no surprise, since my laptop hasn't been updated in months!. Thereafter, the remainder of the install was very easy and very quick (be sure to follow the prompts for sequencing the USB plug-in)! But the real surprise came after I had a conference call with my Brother-in-law!! The clarity of the picture and sound was truly stunning! Colors are vivid and almost exact hue representation. The size of the cam makes it easy to pack and ... Logitech QuickCam Pro Web Cam
Have been using the web cam for about a month and so far I'm enjoying it very much. The picture quality is clear and the camera works very well when taking still shots. It has a feature that detects movements and self focuses. I am very happy with the camera and think the quality is good for the price I paid.
