Great usb headset at a great value.
Works out of the box with Linux Mint 18.1, as well Windows 8.1. No need for modules/drivers. Volume button works in Mint as well. A major reason for the purchase was the right side mic. The mic can also swivel around the back for the left. One could then use software to swap the left and right ears. (I did not do this). Ear cups could be bigger, though I am a big and tall @ 6'3.5". Mic works great even without a wind sock. I have used the mic for a Google hangout call (Mint/Chrome), as well as passing it to a virtualbox virtual machine using alsa.Works out of the box with Linux Mint 18.1, as well Windows 8.1. I think these type of headphones are good but because I bought one used I didn't know there would be a clicking noise when I tried to talk. That's what you get sometimes when you buy something used.

I bought this product to be able to create instructional videos for a technical how-to website I started, and have been very pleased. As recorded voice quality is a very important to me, I have not been disappointed with this product. Besides recording, these headphones have great sound quality too, very flat response (which is what you look for in accurately playing music and other audio.) I have three other headsets I've tried in the past, and this one I prefer to use. So far, I have not found anything to dislike about this product.
